As an author: Natasha Jo Benevides holds a Master of Divinity specializing in spiritual formation, and studied Creative Writing at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has authored several Bible studies; had articles featured in Christianity Today’s Gifted for Leadership publication and The Toronto Star; and had short works of fiction and poetry published with the Canadian Author’s Association. Her debut novel, a faith-based supernatural thriller, is currently being marketed.

As a speaker: Natasha is a dynamic speaker, teacher and leader. With two decades of church leadership experience, she is presently the Pastor of Discipleship and Growth Groups at a large church in the Toronto area of Ontario, Canada. She has spoken, taught and shared with numerous audiences in many different formats including: leading session with Family Life Canada, guest speaking on JOY 1250 radio, developing and teaching courses and preaching at various churches. Natasha offers practical wisdom and spiritual insight that resonates well with audiences.

As a human: Natasha is direct, funny and broken. Raised in a challenging environment as the youngest of four in a single parent family, she has been exposed to difficult circumstances from her early years right into adulthood. A former teen mom, she had quit high school and then returned to graduate Valedictorian while raising her two daughters. By the world’s standards a survivor and success, Natasha felt the emptiness of a life without faith, and found healing and wholeness in the presence of Jesus Christ. An experience she is determined to foster in others through her passion for writing and speaking.
